New beginnings, reflections & a little something just for you…
Thank you so much for joining me this past term — whether in-person or online, your presence in class brings so much energy, heart and joy. As we step into June, I wanted to share some updates, new dates, and a few things I’m excited about. There’s something for everyone — whether you're continuing your practice, curious about trying something new, or just in need of a little restoration.

Explore & Restore — Just 4 Spaces Left

Join me and Rachel Clayton on Thursday 19th June for a beautiful evening of gentle movement and expressive art.
Explore & Restore is a calming, creative workshop where we blend restorative Pilates with simple, beginner-friendly drawing exercises. It’s designed to help you slow down, tune into your body, and gently reconnect with your creative side.
No experience needed — just a willingness to explore. We’d love to have you with us.

Gym Confidence — What a Joy!
Our very first Heart & Muscle: Gym Confidence Course has wrapped up, and what a brilliant experience it’s been!
This introductory course was created to help women (and men) step into the gym with confidence — to feel strong, capable, and comfortable in a space that can often feel intimidating. Each session was filled with encouragement, education & motivation. Led by myself & Marie Innes - Gym Manager at Ridgway Family Fitness
We will be running this again over the summer — let me know if you’d like to be first to hear when booking opens.

A Rest @ Home Evening (Zoom)
I’m currently planning a special evening session via Zoom for those of you who love the idea of winding down at home. This gentle class will focus on restorative movement, breath work, and simple practices to help calm your nervous system.
You can light a candle, roll out your mat, and press pause — all from the comfort of your living room.
Let me know if you’re interested and I’ll keep you in the loop when dates are confirmed.

Joseph H. Pilates
As we explore new ways to move and restore and currently have a lot of 'noise' around Pilates on social media & our news. I wanted to invite you to perhaps have a look at the first publication in 1934 by Joseph H. Pilates - 'Your Health'.
You can read about his philosophy, principles & theories on our health & fitness.
His concept of a balanced body & mind & the benefits of his science/method of 'Contrology'.
It's a wonderful look into his original & in my opinion , extraordinary thinking & genius.
My current clients are welcome to loan my copy.

Can’t Make It In Person? Try Online
My next online course starts Monday 17th June — perfect if you’re travelling, juggling work, or simply prefer to move from home. It’s a lovely way to stay connected to your practice, wherever you are.
Thank you for being part of this community — whether you join me on the mat, online, or simply read along from your inbox, it means the world.
Wishing you a month filled with calm moments, curious movement, and joy.
With love and gratitude,Rachel x
