Nightingale Pilates 

 Terms and Conditions

Our courses & Live online sessions run mainly term times throughout the year. All dates are clearly communicated regularly via our newsletter, website, emails and within our private Facebook group. 

  • Before attending class you will be requested to complete a health screening form, this gives you an opportunity to advise your teacher of any health issues which need to be taken into consideration. You must complete the screening form and send it back to Rachel before being allowed to start your course. 

  • When you have or are under treatment from a Professional, please ensure that you have been given permission by your doctor, physiotherapist or health practitioner before attending a class. Rachel may ask for further details from your treatment provider. 

  • When participating in a Pilates class, personal responsibility for your own well being is essential; only you can know how your body feels & responds to an exercise. Moving into any kind of pain or discomfort is to be avoided at all costs. If you experience any pain or discomfort in class, stop the movement immediately & alert your teacher. 

  • Payment for your chosen service/s is via our website booking system 

  • You can cancel your online subscription at any time. 

  • Your Mat course is not confirmed until we have received payment & screening forms.

  • If you miss an In-Person class you have the option of joining our online classes for that week.

  • Missed classes are not rolled over as credits. 

  • Refunds may be given at the discretion of Rachel. 

  • Pregnancy - please inform the teacher as soon as possible. Our classes are suitable for you until 16 weeks. 

Catch up Service:

If on certain occasions Clients are unable to attend their class time, Nightingale Pilates offers a Catch Up Service. This provides the Client with an opportunity to swap to another class to enable them to receive their full quota of classes paid. Catch ups can only be taken during that course term. Catch up classes are subject to a space being available. Clients must ask the teacher and give as much notice as possible. 

For Online classes:

It is the responsibility of you, the participant to ensure: 

  • There is sufficient space to perform the exercises safely & without obstacles or obstructions, free from furniture, equipment & other hazards - a minimum of 4 square metres per person

  • Any equipment you use is safe & in a suitable condition for the session being performed

  • The surrounding floor space is clear to remove any hazards that may increase risks of slips, trips or falls

  • There are no distractions throughout the duration of your session 

  • There is sufficient heating, lighting. ventilation & hydration.

As with all fitness & exercise programs, when using this method of exercising, you need to use your common sense. By performing the sessions without supervision, you are performing them at your own risk. Nightingale Pilates will not be responsible or liable for any injury or harm you sustain as a result of this exercise programme, online or ‘live’ video or information shared on our pages.
